  • Houjicha Panna cotta Recipe

    This silky and creamy Panna Cotta made with Houjicha makes an impressive yet simple dessert. Serve with sweet Azuki (roasted red bean) or whipped cream. This keeps well for several days in the refrigerator.

    Milk
     200ml
    Heavy cream
     100ml
    Sugar  30g
    Houjicha Powder  3g
    Gelatin
    3g
    Houjicha Panna cotta Recipe

Instructions

  1. Pour the milk and cream into a saucepan with the sugar, stir to combine and bring to a simmer, then remove from the heat
  2. Add the gelatine to a bowl of cold water and soak for 5 mins.
  3. Add gelatine to the milk mixture. Stir until completely dissolved.
  4. Pour cream into 4 individual serving dishes. Refrigerate for at least 2-4 hours, or until completely set.
  5. If you like, top with fresh fruit, berries, sweet azuki, etc...
